Sophia Marriott is a Director, Writer, and Producer studying Film & Television Production at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. She is known for her powerful complex storylines, which feature strong characters with a focus on family life, friendships, relationships, and the genuine representation of contemporary storylines. She also endeavors to create stories with authentic narratives for women.
She is currently an intern at NBCUniversal and has previously interned at Phoenix Pictures, Bold Films, and the non-profit Voting Smarter. She was awarded the NBCUniversal Media Scholarship and the Creatives Rebuild New York Grant for her filmmaking. She works on a variety of multimedia independent projects and is currently producing several upcoming projects.
Beyond her cinematic work, Sophia is the Fundraising and Outreach Committee Officer at The Happy Hour, a USC-affiliated organization aimed at improving the mental health, safety, and well-being of students through public health resources.
